I believe these emulators will unlock many new use cases of the Emporia Energy monitoring application. Most of these emulators have excellent graphic capabilities as they are intended to play Android games on desktop computers. There are also Android emulators available for the Mac & Linux platforms, but I didn’t used them. This is a simulation of a Classic Macintosh from 1984, running System 7.0.1 with MacPaint, MacDraw, and Kid Pix. These are the most promising ones for an easy installation on the Windows platform. PCE.js Mac Plus emulator running Mac OS System 7 a hack by James Friend PCE.js emulates classic computers in the browser. There are also at least 2 other good free android emulators: NOX for Mac & Windows ( ) and MEmu for PC ( ).
An interesting solution is to use an Android emulator for Windows such as BlueStacks ( ). Running the Emporia Energy app on an Android emulator for Windows, Mac or LinuxĪs I had problems running the app for a while on my Android tablet, I needed an alternative to monitor my energy usage.
